Nieuwe SAL: Jan Houtman - Het kruis dragen - Bearing the Cross - Elk huis

Nieuwe SAL voor wie er behoefte aan heeft.
Er is geen tijdslimiet - begin wanneer je wilt.

Het patroon staat in: "Een leven in Kruissteek" van Jan Houtman (samen
met "Ora et Labora" en "In Memoriam".
en is 280x385 kruisjes. Garenhoeveelheid staat op basis van aida 7
in het boek aangegeven.

Dit was het laatste door Jan geborduurde doek. De spreuk spreekt voor zich.
De rand werd nooit eerder door Jan geborduurd - data staan voor geboorte- en sterfdatum van Jan en Theo's hondje Saar. In het midden een Andreaskruis: het symbool voor nederigheid en lijden.

Chart can be found in the latest Jan Houtman book "A live in
Cross Stitch" (together with Ora et Labora and "In Memoriam" and
is 280x385 stitches. Also essential skeins for aida 18 count can be
found in the book.

This was Jan his last and final sampler. He stitched a very unusal border which he never stitched before. Dates stand for date of birth and date of death of Jan and Theo their dog "Saar". St Andrews Cross is symbol for
medesty and suffering.

Yvonne - Monogrammes axc Carrés - Marjorie Massey

Yvonne borduurde "Monogrammes aux Carrés" met 2 draadjes DMC garen op
14 draads kaaslinnen. Gebruikte kleurnummers: 3834, 3835 en 3836.
Zij gebruikte geen 1,5 streng per kleur. Patroon is 215x149 kruisjes.

Yvonne used 36 count linen and 2 plies DMC for "Monogrammes aux Carrés.
Colournumbers: 3834, 3835 and 3836 - less than 1,5 skein per colour.
Chart is 215x149 stitches

SAL Herfst - Autumn - 2013: Jan Houtman - Vriendschap/ Memoriam - Friendship/Memorial

SAL met de bedoeling om in herfst 2013 te beginnen (of zoveel eerder/later
als je zou willen) - Vriendschap/Memorium van Jan Houtman.
Patroon is 335 x 219 kruisjes. Geborduurd gedeelte op Aida 7 of een 14 draads borduurstof is 48 x 31.5 cm.

SAL: Herfst - Autumn - 2012 - Zomerboeket in Groen - Summerflowers in Green

Bij verschillende borduursters liggen garen en stof al klaar.
Wie eerder wil beginnen kan gerust zijn/haar gang gaan.
Ik zelf begin pas rond september 2012 aan Zomerboeket in Groen.
Groen is in dit geval een ontwerp van Jan Houtman - het Zomerboeket
een ontwerp van de welbekende Mies Bloch.

Patroon wordt met 21 verschillende kleuren DMC garen geborduurd.
Geborduurd gedeelte is 458 x 618 kruisjes.
Uitgevoerd op 14-draads borduurstof of Aida borduurstof voor 7 kruisjes per cm wordt het formaat van het borduurwerk 65 x 89 cm.
